Old moon

I was having a bath last night on our deck overlooking the sea and a big old moon tilted up out of the pohutukawas to have a look at me. I couldn't tell if he was disappointed.
I wish the moon could shine on all the people of the world
And if he can't do that I wish he could shine on most of them
And if that's impossible, shine on many of them
And if that's a no no, shine on a few of them
And if all else fails let him shine on me.

glad to see you have vegetarian and gluten free food there as well as american guitars at eggsentric. speaking of course as a vegetarian songwriter from america. that god damn awful freedom model! it can be ugly with its american music and fine crafted instruments. namaste. :)

Micky.... there is a lot to love about you guys (especially if you come from Philadelphia and play music). Please don't think because I attack your foreign policy it is in any way personal. Thanks for the compliment on my sculpture.

Hopper.... who told you he's there when you can't see him! I bet he's off fawning on someone else because they said "isn't he romantic" or "look at his reflection in the water". You don't get any loyalty in moons these days!

no, i understand, our foreign policy needs some adjusting to say the least. i never take anything personal at all. just love a good argument, :)

Hi HB - but it's not even his shine, he stole it from the sun! I tell you, moons these days.
